Lithuanian Shorts Catalogue 2025-2026
Lithuanian short film agency “Lithuanian Shorts” presents its 15th catalogue of the latest short films by Lithuanian filmmakers – “Lithuanian Shorts 2025–2026”.
The curated catalogue features films that are awaiting their premieres or have already begun their festival journeys, as well as works currently in the final stages of production. The 15th catalogue is notable for its thematic and artistic diversity, ranging from stories evoking history and nostalgia to explorations of contemporary dilemmas, identity, and the subtle boundary between reality and dreams. The films explore love and transience, the relationship between nature and humans, interpersonal connections, fragments of everyday life, and broader social contexts. Together, they allow filmmakers to reveal their individual creative voices while offering audiences a multifaceted panorama of contemporary Lithuanian cinema.
The catalogue consists of 34 recent short films: 19 fiction films, 4 animated films, 8 documentaries, and one each of experimental, hybrid, and dance films.
