Rinaldas Tomaševičius
Rinaldas Tomaševičius is an up-and-coming film director and screenwriter. Before taking up film directing, he lived on the street as a homeless man. Only 9 years ago, he escaped that hell. That’s the main reason he makes films that convey in a very real way the emotions and aspirations of a society that is unacceptable to the public.
Tomasevicius obtained a BA in film directing from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2022 and continues his studies in the MA programme. His debut film, “Last Time”, is currently on its way to the international film festivals where it has already won several major prizes, as well as being nominated for the “National Film Awards for Best Student Work 2022”. His film “-15” is also on its way to major film festivals.
