Loving

LOVING follows Adela and Benas, two strangers whose brief encounter in Lithuania unfolds into a tender, complex connection that transcends time and circumstance. Through fragments of shared moments — a lakeside swim, late-night conversations, and quiet goodbyes — the film captures the beauty and ache of impermanent love. Told with intimacy and restraint, LOVING explores how we remember, forget, and hold onto the people who shape us.

Director’s Biography

Vesta Tučkutė

Vesta Tučkutė is a Lithuanian-American producer and director whose path into filmmaking began without formal training — guided by curiosity, chance, and a desire to tell stories. Over the past eight years, she has produced narrative films, short works, and commercial projects across the United States, Mexico, Japan, the Balkans, and her native Baltic region. Observing people and engaging with strangers, Vesta draws inspiration for stories that feel both universally relatable and deeply personal.

In 2025, she completed her directorial debut short film “Loving”. She is currently developing her second short film, “Mama,” slated for production in spring 2026 in New York.
