Vasaros Misterijos
A team of filmmakers travels around Lithuania’s summer festivals – from Midsummer’s Day and Assumption Day to the first day of September, which marks the end of summer – capturing short, playful moments of their journey on 16 mm film. By asking people they meet about miracles, faith, childhood, and memories, the filmmakers unexpectedly reveal hidden stories and sensitive confessions.

Director’s Biography
Simona Jurkuvėnaitė
Simona Jurkuvėnaitė (b. 2000) holds a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting and is currently studying for a master’s in film directing at the Lithuanian National Film School (KIMO). Her short films “The Pushers” (2023) and “After Classes” (2025) were selected to compete in the national competition at the Vilnius Short Film Festival.
