CukrusIna succeeds in saving Marius, but her relief is overshadowed by his continued denial. She longs for him to confront his vulnerability, while Marius struggles to accept the reality of his condition. As they try to navigate the tension between their desires for love and acceptance, both are forced to reckon with their deepest fears about who they are and how far they are willing to go for each other.

Director’s Biography
Ida Giedraitė
Ida Giedraitė is a Lithuanian actress and writer. She graduated with a degree in acting from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and has trained at institutions across Europe, including the Giles Foreman Centre in London. Her screen acting work spans Baltic and European productions. In theatre, she currently portrays Clawdia Chauchat in Krystian Lupa’s Magic Mountain. Her short film “Sugar” marks her directorial debut. She also worked as script supervisor on the feature film “Toxic” (dir. S. Bliuvaitė), which won at the 2024 Locarno Film Festival. Ida is a board member of the Lithuanian Actors Guild, has served on the national Silver Crane awards committee, and is a member of the European Film Academy.
