Glitter Kiss
Artimas kontaktasRolandas is a lonely, elderly, homophobic man who lives next to a drag bar. After a short interaction with the street bullies Rolandas finds a brutally beaten up drag queen Glitter Kiss (Klaudijus) in the staircase of his apartment building. Not wanting any trouble with the police and the neighbors, Rolandas follows the victim to the hospital with the ambulance. At the hospital, Rolandas has no choice and becomes Klaudijus’ first response. When the police arrives, Rolandas is interrogated and more details of how the crime was committed are revealed – it appears he is not so innocent. When doctor finds a hematoma in Klaudijus’ head, the situation becomes critical – he is in danger of death. The person who is responsible for the decision of Klaudijus surgery is his first response.

Director’s Biography
Augustė Gerikaitė
Augustė Gerikaitė is a Vilnius based short fiction and documentary film director. She grew up in a small coastline town Kretinga, Lithuania. Her passion for the world of cinema started in primary school, when she started making small films with her classmates, and has not weakened yet. Life in a small town, where everyone is somebody’s relative or neighbour, gave a possibility to observe and unconsciously analyse human relations and interactions. Since then this has become a main topic and point of interest of this young generation director. Auguste is a writer-director, she prefers to write her own scripts, which she then directs, looking at life from the point of view of absurdity and dramedy. She is particularly interested in the relationships between people and how they change depending on the time people have spent together.
