Season in France
For three months, from September 12 to December 12, 2024, Lithuania’s biggest cultural project outside the country to date, “Season of Lithuania in France 2024,” will take place in France. During this Season, the Lithuanian Short Film Agency, Lithuanian Shorts, will present initiatives dedicated to the Lithuanian short film scene, featuring more than 30 short films.

The Lithuanian Short Film Agency ‘Lithuanian Shorts’ in collaboration with the French Short Film Agency ‘L’Agence du court métrage’ presents a series of Lithuanian short film programs at the Brest European Short Film Festival, on the streaming platform Brefcinema and in cinemas via L’Extra Court.
Carte blanche to Deimantas Narkevičius

One of the most internationally acclaimed Lithuanian contemporary artists Deimantas Narkevičius will offer a program of short films and works of contemporary Lithuanian cinema and video art. Each film has been chosen with the aim of transcending cultural clichés to foster a space for dialogue to interrogate genres. The varied origins of the filmmakers, whether linked to their creative, individual or social spheres, offer a nuanced and plural vision of the contemporary Lithuanian art scene.
Feminine focus at the Poitiers Film Festival
