SINE ANIMA
The film explores an undefined form of life that is neither animal nor human. These are moments of artificial life generated by artificial intelligence, a flurry of deformed shapes and odd instances. Everything appears so real and unreal at the same time. Does a world created by artificial intelligence lack a soul?

Directors’ Biographies
Antanas Skučas
Antanas Skučas is a film director, data artist, and a lecturer at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. He has been involved in animation since 2005 and was honored as the Lithuanian Animator of the Year by the Lithuanian Animation Association in 2023.
His animation shorts, “Childhood Diary” (2009) and “Purga” (2023), have received the Lithuanian Silver Crane Award. Currently, Antanas is working on a short film titled ‘Conductor,’ and as a scriptwriter, he is also developing a feature-length animated film. Additionally, he is active in the field of new media, including XR, VR, AR, and AI.

Julius Zubavičius
Julius Zubavičius obtained a Multimedia Director BA degree. In 2011, Julius moved to London to advance his career as a film sound designer, where he continues to live and work. Julius has worked on more than 30 film projects as a sound designer, recordist, and composer.
