Shorts Critics. Young

Shorts Critics. Young is a film criticism and creative writing programme for young people aged 16–19. During a two-day creative workshop, participants will explore the language of cinema and the principles of film criticism, learning how to analyse films and write about them in creative and engaging ways.

Throughout the programme, participants will discover how to watch films critically and how to express their insights through well-argued and imaginative writing. After completing the workshops, they will be invited to attend the BLON Animation and Video Game Festival in Klaipėda, where they will watch films and write critical reviews and reflections on the festival programme.
