Winners of Baltic Pitching Forum 2016 were announced

October 7-8th short film filmmakers from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia came to Vilnius to learn how successfully present their future film projects for international jury, trying to find film partners, required funding and attract potential distributors. The three-member selection committee carefully selected nine feature and animation film projects – three from each Baltic country. Active European producers, TV commissioners, fund representatives, festival or VoD programmers and distributors hold trainings, one-on-one meetings and gave valuable advices to participants of the Forum.

The first day of the Forum was dedicated to the training regarding successful pitching and how to prepare for it. The second day was dedicated to a presentation of the selected projects. In the end of the Forum international panel consisting of 7 members selected the best projects. The winners of Baltic Pitching Forum 2016 are:

THE JUGGLER (dir. Skirmanta Jakaitė, prod. Agnė Adomėnė, Lithuania)

RIGA’S LILAC (dir. Lizete Upīte, Latvia)

The Juggler is selected to participate at European Short Film Co-production Forum EURO CONNECTION 2017 of 39th Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival and Riga’s Lilac is selected to participate at European Short Pitch 2017 organised by NISI MASA – European Network of Young Cinema.
