“LT.art Vienna” Festival Showcases Lithuanian Short Films Programme “Collective Pulse”
Lithuanian Shorts continues its traditional partnership with the interdisciplinary arts festival “LT.art Vienna” by adding the exclusive Lithuanian short film programme “Collective Pulse” to its repertoire. The short film screening will take place on the 9th of October at the “Admiral Kino”, Vienna, Austria.
The interdisciplinary art festival “LT.art Vienna” is a series of cultural events with films screenings, art exhibitions, sound performances, conferences, publications, and workshops. The theme of this year’s festival, “Gossip”,was chosen with the community in mind, aiming to create a collective narrative and give voice to its stories. The festival focuses not on the main characters of these stories, but on the storytellers—the everyday people. Artists, authors, and researchers share these stories through their own mediums and perspectives, all of which are woven together into a three-month program.
“Collective Pulse” is a short film program showcasing the work of the new generation of Lithuanian filmmakers. Each film delves into the complexities of human connections and the power of community. This collection portrays unique and compelling stories where individuals navigate the challenges of belonging, empathy, and solidarity in diverse and often unexpected settings.
