5 Lithuanian short films at Animateka International Animated Film Festival

Five Lithuanian short animation films will be screened at 14th Animateka International Animated Film Festival, which is taking place in Ljubjana this week!
Three films produced by the Lithuanian production house „Art Short“ made into the International competition programme. „Last Stop Is The Moon“ (dir. Birutė Sodeikaitė), „After Death, Before Hell“ (dir. Tomas Ramanauskas) and „Ragnarok“ (dir. Urtė Oettinger, Johan Oettinger) together with other 30 best new animated shorts from Central and Eastern Europe are running for this year’s Audience Award, Jury Grand Prix and Youth Talent prize.
Another Lithuanian short film – “Mr. Night Has a Day Off” by Ignas Meilūnas – is selected to the children’s films competition programme “The Elephant in Competition”.
Lithuanian short film „Running Lights“ (dir. Gediminas Šiaulys) produced by the company „Pet Punk“ will be screened on the special non-competitive programme „Eastern and Central European Panorama“ together with 60 newest European short animated films.
