Patrikas

Patrick is a shy boy from an orphanage. After visiting the zoo and observing a parrot, he starts to dress colorfully and finds freedom to be himself. Everyone around him also starts to look like they belong to some animal family. Even if it makes it harder for Patrick to find friends and parents, he continues to be his true self and waits for the right parents to accept him.

Director's biography

Meinardas Valkevičius

Meinardas Valkevičius has been interested in animation since childhood. In 2010, he graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts, BA Animation course. During that period, he created many animated films, one of them “The Impossible Moon” has been sent to many global animation festivals. In 2012, he established animation studio “MeinArt”, during the 5 years the company created various animated films, one of them “Hunt” travelled around the globe to many animation festivals and has been viewed online for more than 2 million times. “MeinArt” and its directors vision is to invest part of its profits to create memorable animated films with a deeper meaning.
