The Little Boat
A lullaby is for all sleepers, but especially for non-sleepers who do not like to sleep or to take a nap. A lullaby will make children yawn and fall asleep. “The Little Boat” brings them to the ocean of dreams … There is already a little white kitten and she is dreaming… that she is somewhere else… The evening blurs the contours of the room. The night paints the walls a sky blue colour with bright stars and moon. Floor waves like an ocean. Under the chair a forgotten slipper floats with the ocean flow. It appears that there are four unusual sailors on board… The lullaby film combines live images of kittens with animated characters. The whole dream atmosphere is created by children’s drawings and craftwork. The Lullaby is based on the poem “The Little Boat” by Daniil Charms.
