Magpie II

Benas Šarka is an avant-garde artist, and is both man and bird in this film. When asked the question “Who are you?” he answers with a quote from Shakespeare: “I am a mortal mixture of clay and water.” It is hard to find any sign of a daily routine in Šarka’s life which is more often than not more like a long philosophical monologue. Creation is the only way for Šarka to communicate and it is only by getting to know his creations that you can begin to know him.
