Lernavan

After a long time away from the homeland, father and son are destined to visit. However, such place doesn’t exist and no one’s even heard of it. Suddenly a strange bus appears, going to this place. Father and son are its only passengers. After a long trip, the bus arrives at a peculiar place with no houses, no people, no nature, and no land… only white mountains standing there like a blank, empty page.

Director's biography

Marat Sargsyan

Born in 1978 in Kirovakan, Armenia.

Education:
2009 Bachelor degree in TV and Film directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre
2011 Master degree in TV and Film directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
Employment history:
1991 – 1994 worked in the local Armenian TV channel in the positions of cameraman and editor.
1994 – 2000 moved with his family to Siauliai, Lithuania and started to work in local TV chanel in the positions of cameraman and editor.
2000 – 2005 worked in the private TV channel both as editing director and culinary show host. At this time he has also made 4 award winning music viseos for Lithuanian music bands.
