In just a few decades, former villages and schools are completed not only by people, but also by nature. nowhere else are well-disguised ghosts of the past found, telling their stories silently. Director's biography
Mantvydas Zaukas
Mantvydas Zaukas grew up in the historical town of Samogitia – Kražiai. Since his childhood, the director has been actively interested in both the history of the world and the culture and traditions of his country. In 2020, he graduated from Vilnius College of Technology and Design with a degree in media design and editing. In the same year began his master’s studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. The director’s debut is a film: “Field, stone, tree, yard” where he makes a portrait of extinct villages in the perspectives of today and past.
