Ugnė Tamuliūnaitė
Ugnė Tamuliūnaitė is a scenographer and costume designer working in ballet, opera, and drama productions in Lithuania and abroad. After completing both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Scenography at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, she has been actively involved in diverse creative projects and has participated in exhibitions across Europe. Ugnė began her career at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, where she worked with international creative teams and designed the scenography and costumes for the production Piaf. Her work has since been presented at the Kaunas State Drama Theatre, the Juozas Miltinis Drama Theatre, Teatro do Bairro Alto in Lisbon, and Menų Fortas, as well as in international projects including the Salzburg Festival. Since 2022, Ugnė has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association. In 2025, she was nominated for the Golden Stage Cross for costume design in Macbeth — one of the most notable contemporary Lithuanian theatre productions.
Her work is characterised by experimentation with materials, colour, and light, creating atmospheric and sensorial stage environments.
