Miki Ambrózy

Miklós (Miki) Ambrózy (he/him) is a Vilnius-based filmmaker, writer, and artist working with film. He is an active member of the Why Cut When You Can Fade artistic research group, founder of the artistic research platform Landing, and a member of the artist-run film lab SPONGĖ. His research topics include degrowth, pollution, film poetics, and the transfer of artistic methods to the broader public.

He is currently employed as artistic researcher at Vilnius  Academy of Arts. Miki has studied Audiovisual Arts and Film Directing in LUCA School of Arts, Brussels, and acting for stage at the Thessaloniki Centre for Experimental Theatre. Miki’s films and installations have screened in Brussels, Paris, Vienna, Vilnius, Riga, Rotterdam, Manchester and Athens.
