Inga Kuznecova
Inga Kuznecova is a contemporary dance choreographer, performer, and teacher. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in the arts (since 2023). Since 2024, Inga has been working as a freelance artist, and since 2012, she has been teaching at the Klaipėda Faculty of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (formerly the KU Faculty of Arts). From 2012 to 2024, she actively created and performed works in the Lithuanian dance field: she was a dancer and choreographer for the Šeiko Dance Theater (2017–2024) and the PADI DAPI Fish (2012–2017) troupe. In her work, Inga combines choreography, performative research, documentary material, and her relationship with the environment. She has created choreography for the theater stage, children’s performances, dance films, and site-specific performances. Inga has worked with well-known Lithuanian and foreign choreographers, and she and her team have been nominated for the Golden Cross of the Stage award (2013, 2016, 2019) and received Padėkos kaukės (Thank you Mask) nominations (2016, 2022) for creative work. Inga actively participates in international events, conferences, and residencies.
Her works explore the relationship between the body and its environment, mythology, historical narratives, and sensory experiences, combining dance, documentary, and artistic experimentation.
